Mark Zuckerberg unveiled Meta Quest Pro, the first in a new line of advanced headsets built for collaboration, creativity and getting things done.
Packed with innovative new features like full-color mixed reality, Meta Quest Pro is available for pre-order today and begins shipping on October 25.
Virtual reality has become a fundamentally social platform, and we’re making progress on the metaverse.

Meta Quest Pro is the first in a new line of advanced headsets built to expand the possibilities of virtual and mixed reality. Its pancake lenses fold light over several times, reducing the size of the headset while showing sharper visuals. A new, curved battery on the back helps make Meta Quest Pro a more balanced and ergonomic headset overall.
High-resolution outward-facing cameras capture 4X as many pixels as Meta Quest 2 and make Meta Quest Pro our first full-color mixed reality device. Imagine the possibilities when the physical and digital worlds can finally interact seamlessly, without you craning your neck to look down at a phone.

It’s also the first headset built that integrates inward-facing sensors to capture natural facial expressions and eye tracking. Raise an eyebrow, smile or simply make eye contact with someone, and your avatar will do the same. All of this helps improve social presence — the feeling that you’re right there together with someone no matter where in the world you are.
Meta Quest Pro will be available for purchase on October 25 for $1,499.99 USD, and that includes the headset, Meta Quest Touch Pro controllers, stylus tips, partial light blockers, and a charging dock. You can pre-order Meta Quest Pro from the Meta Store starting today in any country where Meta Quest products are supported, and from select retail partners, including: Best Buy in the US and Canada, Argos and Currys in the UK, and FNAC and Boulanger in France. You can also pre-order from Amazon in the US, UK, Canada, and France.
Meta Quest Pro is the first-ever device powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2+ platform, which is optimized for VR to run at 50% more power than Meta Quest 2 with better thermal dissipation, resulting in significantly better performance. Each Meta Quest Pro comes with 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and 10 high-res sensors (five inside the headset and five outside) that help enhance a variety of immersive experiences.
